International Conference Cycle - Context (s) in Contemporary Architecture: 5 Continents
The International Conference Cycle Context (s) in Contemporary Architecture: 5 Continents, produced by FAUP, through its research centre, CEAU, is a joint action of the research groups Architecture: Theory, Project, History + House Atlas. The cycle is organised by professors Ana Neiva and José Cabral Dias.
With the purpose of confronting contemporary Portuguese thinking with international practices, the cycle intends to debate the production and architectural ideas from an extended perspective to the 5 continents. To bring together different approaches to the same subjects from different cultures and geographies, this cycle will count with the participation of an architect/lecturer from each of the five continents:
Issa Diabaté (Africa) February 28, 2018; Paul Owen (Oceania) March 22, 2018; Rick Joy (America) April 11, 2018; Li Xiaodong (Asia) April 18, 2018; Tham & Videgård (Europa) May 24, 2019.
